Aliens Invade Teen Party In Kids Vs. Aliens [EXCLUSIVE CLIP]

Screen Rant is thrilled to present an exclusive clip from the new horror sci-fi movie Kids Vs. Aliens. The new movie follows Gary, who wants more than anything to make an awesome horror movie with his best friends, but his sister Samantha has a different goal: to get in with the cool kids. When their parents leave town for Halloween weekend, they throw a blowout house party, but terror quickly overtakes the fun when aliens attack. In the face of certain death, with the aliens using human skin as fuel for their ship, Gary and Samantha must work together to survive the night with only the costumes they wear and weapons they can find.

Kids Vs. Aliens is based on John Davies and Jason Eisener’s segment from the found-footage horror anthology movie V/H/S/2, “Slumber Party Alien Abduction.” Kids Vs. Aliens is Eisner’s second feature-length project after Hobo With A Shotgun, which came to fruition after he won the 2007 Grindhouse fake trailer contest with a trailer for an imaginary movie of the same name. Kids Vs. Aliens will be available in theaters, On Demand, and on digital on January 20.

Screen Rant’s terrifying exclusive clip begins with Billy (Calem MacDonald) holding Gary (Dominic Mariche) and threatening to break his arm while his friend Dallas (Isaiah Fortune) protests. Samantha (Phoebe Rex) watches on silently, clearly conflicted until Billy rears back to actually injure her brother. However, before Billy can swing, a blinding light shines into the house, showing a creepy silhouette against the glass door before the house goes dark. The light shines again showing more silhouettes, but Billy is quick to reason this is a prank until an alien rushes forward grabbing Billy’s face. The party descends into terrified screams and chaos as aliens flood the house.

Kids Vs. Aliens had its World Premiere at Fantastic Fest in 2022. Kids Vs. Aliens captures the classic Goonies or Stranger Things feeling but leans even further into the horror with the kids and teens banding together in the hopes of survival when these terrifying creatures target them. It seems Samantha and Gary’s sibling relationship will likely be the heart of Kids Vs. Aliens. While she failed to protect him in the clip, Samantha will likely step up to keep him safe in the face of mortal danger.

Kids Vs. Aliens is directed by Jason Eisener from a screenplay by Eisner and John Davies. Kids Vs. Aliens stars Dominic Mariche (Are You Afraid of the Dark?), Phoebe Rex (The Last Divide), Calem MacDonald (The Umbrella Academy, Moonshine), Asher Grayson Percival (Scaredy Cats), and Ben Tector. Kids Vs. Aliens has a runtime of 75 minutes and is distributed by RLJE Films and Shudder.
