Talk to Me was banned in Kuwait due to the inclusion of a trans actor, Zoe Terakes, who responds to the “dehumanizing” decision. Since its theatrical release last month, the new horror film has been both a critical and commercial success, becoming A24’s second-biggest opening weekend domestically after Ari Aster’s Hereditary with $10 million.
