Jamie Foxx Releases First Statement After Medical Emergency & Hospitalization
Jamie Foxx released his first public statement since reports he was experiencing a medical emergency surfaced. The actor, known for his roles in films like Django Unchained and Spider-Man: No Way Home, has been quiet about his medical condition following reports of an emergency last month. The cause of Foxx’s medical emergency remains unclear.

In mid-April 2023, Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, posted on Instagram, saying Foxx was recovering from a “medical complication” at the hospital. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star did not make a public statement about his condition or recovery at the time. He has also been tapped to star in a Spawn movie reboot, supernatural thriller Geechee, and courtroom drama The Burial. Before his hospitalization, Foxx was filming Back in Action, starring alongside Cameron Diaz. According to People, stunt doubles and body doubles were used to shoot Foxx’s remaining scenes in the film, which has since wrapped production.
