Not Without Hope Image Reveals First Look At Zachary Levi’s True-Story Based Survival Thriller Movie
The upcoming thriller Not Without Hope reveals its first look image featuring Zachary Levi. Levi is best known for his work as the titular character in the Shazam! movie series. He also led the TV series Chuck as the titular character, a supporting role in Thor: The Dark World, and the voice of Flynn Rider in Tangled. After the success of these roles, Levi has a number of movies on the docket, including Spy Kids: Armageddon, a Harold and the Purple Crayon adaptation, and the voice actor in Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.
From Highland Film Group, the first image for Not Without Hope shows Levi along with co-stars Quentin Plair and Michael Cook in a perilous-looking situation. Check out the image below:

Although Not Without Hope is marketed as an action thriller, the movie is actually based on a true story. Adapted from the non-fiction bestseller of the same name, the survival thriller follows the story of four men – two best friends and two NFL players – who unexpectedly get in dire straits on a fishing trip. Stuck in a severe storm, their boat capsizes 70 miles off the Gulf of Mexico, and the men must fight for their lives in freezing water, dehydration, and predators.
Not Without Hope is directed by Joe Carnahan (Grey, The A-Team, The Blacklist), who also wrote the movie’s screenplay. In addition to Levi, Plair, and Cook, it also stars Josh Duhamel, Terrence Terrell, JoBeth Williams, and Floriana Lima. Highland Film Group has recently obtained distribution rights for this survival thriller.
If the first image is any indication, Not Without Hope is set to be a thriller as intense as the true story at its origin. Its source material, a non-fiction book written by Nick Schuyler (played by Levi in the movie) and Jere Longman, was a New York Times Bestseller. With a strong cast and successful source material behind it, Not Without Hope is shaping up to be a thriller to look out for.
